Development Association AGM - The AGM of the Development & Tidy Towns Association is on Monday, May 13 at 8.30pm in Dungarvan Hall. It is hoped that this meeting will present an opportunity for people of the area to have a voice in the future development of the village and be part of that future.

HELPERS NEED HELP - Four local girls - Maria Kane, Sally Quarrell, Roisin Bollard and Sinead Naddy - who are transition year students at Grennan College have volunteered to travel as helpers on the Ossory Pilgrimage to Lourdes. To enable them to take part, they need to raise money to cover their travel costs. The girls have arranged a fund-raiser to be held at the Ouncel house on Friday, April 26. There will be music by ‘Rusty Springs’ and a guest appearance by the Dungarvan Set Dancers will add to the atmosphere. There is also a door prize and raffle. Subscription €3.

DUNGARVAN CARDS - Declan Twomey & Helen Greene with 11 games took top prize last Thursday. Two pairs ;Peter Dooley/ Paddy Lehane, Jack Bolger/Maura Drennan with 10games shared second prize. Table prize went to ; Martin Langton / Annie Lehane.

PARISH DRAW - €200 Kathleen Holden, €100 Trevor Byrne, €60 James Lennon, €40 Caoimhe & Michael Fitzgerald. Final draw this Thursday.

CAP AND GOWN - Congratulations to Ciara Lennon-Kenny from Ballinaboola, Bennettsbridge who graduated with an MSc in Advanced nursing practice. She is currently studying for her BSc in specialist community Public Health Nursing.
