GAA NEWS - Clara Junior B team have made a good start to the league this year with 2 wins out of 2. With the latest coming against Erins Own in Castlecomer, Clara wining 3-11 to 2-10. The goals coming from Trevor Cummins and 2 from Brian Prendergast, Brian finished the game with a total of 2-5. Other scores for Clara were Eoin Curtis with 3 points with David Mulrooney and Micheal Barcoe scoring a point each. Clara Intermediate Camogie drew against St Anne’s last Friday evening and the Clara U16 Hurlers were unlucky against Kilmacow last Friday as well.
PILTOWN TICKETS - Tickets for the 2013 Hurlers Co-Op Draw are on sale now. Committee members will be around selling tickets over the next few weeks. If you wish to buy one you can contact any committee member, numbers are available on clara.kilkenny.gaa.ie.UNDERAGE TRAINING - Training is back for underage teams (U12 to U6) for both Hurling and Camogie on Monday evenings from 7 to 8.15. New players are always welcome at any age level.
G4M+O - Training is back up and running on Friday nights from 8 to 9.30. New members are always welcome.
GAELIC FOR GIRLS - Is on every Thursday from 7 to 8 in Clara GAA Grounds. This is for 8 to 13 year olds. It is a fun introduction to Ladies Football for the underage setup.

FOR SALE - DVD’s will be on sale this week for the Intermediate finals played in 2012/2013. The DVD’s will be sold as a set. KILKENNY MINOR CAMOGIE - Congratulations to Kilkenny camogie minor team who beat Galway in the All-Ireland semi final on Saturday last. Well done to our four panel members Aisling Nolan, Claire Nolan, Mary O’Connell and Ciara Byrne and best of luck to all four girls in the All-Ireland final next weekend against Cork.

CLARA N.S. - Parents Association are holding their annual childrens sponsored walk in Jenkinstown Woods this Saturday 27th of April at 2pm. This is a great family fun day and a good opportunity for people to get together and have a nice walk and a picnic if you wish to bring one. Fingers crossed for a dry sunny day.
