ICA Kilkenny City is to host a glamorous afternoon of fashion on Sunday in the Rivercourt Hotel in aid of Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care Team.

Fashion lovers will be treated to the season’s latest trends from Pamela Scott and Carraig Donn amongst others, and models’ hair will be prepared by Peter Mark of MacDonagh Junction. Stylist Karen Morrissey will act as compere for the day.

Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care Team is a voluntary organisation that provides a home-based palliative nursing care service to cancer patients and provides a service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing cancer patients to remain at home for as long as possible.

As well as the fashion show, local entertainer Jason Paul Ryan will provide musical entertainment on the afternoon singing Micheal Buble numbers. Nutritionist Caroline Seale will give nutritional advice, Belle Femme lingerie will have samples of their latest lingerie on display, and osteopath Noel Sugrue will give a talk on what an osteopath does.

Tickets cost €10 and are available at Belle Femme on Kieran Street, Kilkenny; Carraig Donn in MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre; and Pamela Scott in MacDonagh Junction; or on the day of the event. Doors will open at 1.30pm and the event starts at 2pm.
