Playschool - In order to expand services and reduce administration expenses, a decision was taken by Community Concern to approach Urlingford Community Childcare with a view to including the management of the Johnstown Community Playschool as part of their facility.

Urlingford Community Childcare has a dedicated full time manager and has the resources to provide additional services not available to Johnstown e.g. longer opening hours, after school/summer camp services. The change over made it necessary to close the Johnstown facility on a temporary basis. Children are currently catered for in Urlingford but it is hoped to reopen and move them back to Johnstown shortly and resume services as normal.. Any enquiries regarding childcare will be welcomed by Mick Kenny ( Urlingford Manager) on 056 883862.
