LATIN MASS - There will be a Traditional Latin Mass in the Parish Church, Bagenalstown, on Saturday,January 19th at 12 noon and all are welcome to come. St. Conleth’s Catholic Heritage Association (www.catholicheritage.blogspot.com) had planned a Latin Mass in Bagenalstown in December but this did not happen as unfortunately the priest missed the train and so when a good number came to St. Andrew’s Parish Church for 12 noon Mass on December 1 the announcement was made that, for the first time in the history of the Association it would not take place.

The organisers, St. Conleth’s Catholic Heritage Association, thank all those who turned out in expectation of a Latin Mass, and to Fr. Declan and the Parish for welcoming them again this year and they sincerely apologise that the Mass didn’t take place due to those unforeseen circumstances beyond their control. The last Latin Mass in St. Andrew’s Church was organised in April last year for the Pope’s Birthday and was a great success.
