BOOK CLUB - The book for next month’s is The Housemaid’s Daughter by Barbara Mutch. The Book Club will meet on Tuesday 2nd April in the Hogan Stand and new members are always welcome.
NAOMH BRID CAMOGIE - The club Secretary, Sheila Gunner, is delighted that the Garda vetting forms have been returned to her for submission. All club officers, committee members, coaches and team personnel are obliged to have this clearance, as part of the Camogie Association’s child protection policy. The club officers and coaches met on Thursday, March 21st to finalise plans for the current year. Unfortunately, funds don’t extend to the purchase of a new set of jerseys, for the Under 14 team. However, we are hopeful that a kind sponsor or joint sponsors might come to our assistance. It is intended that training will be held at the GAA pitch, on Tuesdays from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm. The Under 14 grading have been confirmed for the season and Naomh Brid will be in an eight team Group D, along with O’Loughlins, Mooncoin, Paulstown, Lisdowney, John Lockes, Cloneen and Tullogher .The opening games are scheduled for Wednesday May 8th and will be played through to early July.

FUN EASTER HURLING CAMP 2013 - St Lachtains hurling club will hold their Easter hurling camp for boys and girls aged 7 to 13 years. The camp will be held on Tuesday 2nd April to Friday 5th of April. Camp will start each morning from 10am to 2pm in Parc Lachtain Freshford. The cost of the camp is €30 per child for the first two children and €20 for the third child onwards. ERINS OWN LADIES GAELIC FOOTBALL CLUB - Juvenile training times for 2013 season for the following teams are as follows – 7-8 years on Monday 15th April from 5.45 to 6.30 pm. Under 10 on Monday 8th of April from 5.45 to 6.30pm. Under 12 on Monday 15th April – from 6pm to 7 pm. Under 14 and under 16- Sundays at 5pm. We are also looking for U18 players for competition later on in the year. The club will be holding a registration day on Sun 7th April 2.30 to 4pm in Ballycomey clubrooms. Registration is €20 per player plus €2.00 per player, per training night. On Tues 27th and Wed 28th of March in Ballycomey clubrooms between 7 & 8pm we will be taking orders for club shorts and socks .The package is €20 for the set.
