MASS TIMES FOR EASTER - Chrism Mass today (Wednesday) at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny, all are invited to attend this Mass. Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper in Urlingford at 7pm and in Graine at 8.15pm. Good Friday Celebration of the Passion in Urlingford and Graine at 3pm. Holy Saturday Easter Vigil: Urlingford at 8pm (Only one Vigil Celebration in the parish this year). Easter Sunday Mass in Graine at 10am and Urlingford at 11.30am. Monday, April 1 Mass at 10am; Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th Mass at 9.30am.

URLINGFORD NS - Scoil an Chroi Ro-Naofa Urlingford NS enrolment for September 2013 has now begun. If you have not yet been in contact with the school regarding enrolling a child for September please do so at 056 8831512 from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday or by calling to the school office. Closing date for enrolments is April 12, 2013.

URLINGFORD LIBRARY - Closed Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Open Tuesday 10-1 and 2-8; Thursday 10-1 and 2-5; Saturday 10 to 1.30. It seems like everyone is a little bit more stressed at the moment. Well, Urlingford Library has a display of Self-Help books just to help you become more relaxed, happier and healthier with titles such as: Beat Stress with Meditation. A little bit of Healing. Change your life in 7 days. We can all do with some help sometimes so help yourself and call in to Urlingford Library. Who knows where it might lead!! Urlingford Library has a fantastic display of Tea Cosies, all knitted by our borrowers. Come in and delight in the imagination and flair of our customers. SOCCER LEAGUE - The annual soccer league on the All Weather pitches in Colaiste Mhuire will start hopefully in the next ten days. At present any group with approximately eight players can enter and it is hoped all teams will have at least one game per week over the next two months. With the long evenings approaching and now a chance to keep fit you can enter a team by contacting John Cahill on 086 0485328.

MACGIOLLAPHADRAIG WAY WALK - 17km Grade A (4 hrs approx), Durrow, Co Laois to Gathabawn, Co Kilkenny on Easter Sunday. Registration fee €5 at Church Car Park from 11.30am, Leaving at 12 noon sharp. COMMUNITY ALERT - We now have 220 signed up members in our Community Alert Text System. Shortly these members will receive text messages concerning crime and theft in our area. In the next month we hope to put up new Community Alert Text alert signs around the parish. It is also encouraging to note that most of our neighboring parishes are also establishing Text Alert in their localities. At present the local Gardai contact numbers are 056 8831133 or 086 8580628. When we are fully operations we will give our members a phone number for the 24 hour manned head garda office in Kilkenny.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION - First and third Friday of each month at 2.30-5.30pm.

BAPTISM - The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the second and fourth weekends of the month, Saturday and Sunday only.

MARRIAGE - At least three months notice must be given.

CARE OF THE SICK AND ELDERLY - Please contact Fr Maher if you have a relative or neighbour sick at home or in hospital and would like to be visited or added to the First Friday calls.
