Handball-St Brendan’s National School girls Orla Nolan & Noelle Dowling represented Leinster at the National Girls Cumann na mBunscol Event which took place on Saturday 23rd March, in Kingscourt. The event kicked off proceedings in the first GAA Handball She’s Ace Day of 2013, with 24 of the top young girls from all over the country gathering to represent their Province. All girls received a t-shirt, cert and medal and all can feel pleased with their contribution to a great day’s action where new friends were made and a lot of fun was had. The event was the curtain-raiser for the Minor and Senior Women’s All-Ireland Finals, with Cianna Ni Churraoin(Galway) and Caitriona Casy (Cork) claiming the national titles.
