Athletics - Well done to Aoife Moore who came third in the 60m hurdles at the Leinster Indoor

Finals in Athlone IT recently. Aoife then competed in the All Ireland Indoor

Championship last weekend in Athlone IT where she came in a very credible 6th

position. Aoife trains with Gowran AC.

Schools Hurling - The School Hurling team suffered a defeat in their first match against Dunamaggin

last week. This teams next match is an away game against Mullinavat on April 10th.

U14 Football - The St Fiacres u14 footballers had their first defeat of the league on St Patrick’s Day

in Tom Walsh Park when they were beaten by Conahy Shamrocks. St Fiacres needed

a draw or win to make the league final but unfortunately it was not to be. Final

scoreline was 4-4 to 2-7. The team was-S Byrne, D Sheedy, N Hayden, S Walsh, M

Walsh, S Cosgrave, K Phelan, J Dowling, R Foley, K O’Grady, S Holden, J Byrne, B

Savage, I Foley, A Foley, J Cahill, T Doherty, O Alyward.

U16 Football - The St Fiacres U 16 footballers travelled to Tullogher on St Patrick’s Day for their

League Roinn B Group A match –Final score Tullogher Rosbercon 3-6 St Fiacres 3-4.

Confirmation - Friday 15th March was a special day for the 5th and 6th class students who received

the Sacrament of Confirmation –the following pupils were confirmed- R Moran, S

School Holidays - Skeoughvosteen National School closed for the Easter Break on Friday 22nd March

and will re-open on Monday April 8th. Happy Easter to all!

Junior B League - The Blacks and Whites Junior B Hurlers get their league campaign off this Friday

29th March at 5.00pm. The game is currently fixed for Tom Walsh Park after being re

scheduled due to the bad weather last weekend.

Intermediate Football - Blacks and Whites footballers have been drawn against St Patricks Ballyraggett in the

Intermediate Football Championship semi final. The game is fixed for St James Park,

Kilkenny on Saturday 6th April at 6.30pm

Saturday, No Mass Skeoughvosteen, Graiguenamanagh 9.00pm. Easter Sunday, Skeoughvosteen 9.30am, Graiguenamanagh 11.00am.
