KILMACOW SOCCER CLUB-UNDER 11 Cup Final Kilmacow 0 St. Paul’s 1 The one sure thing about this Under 11B cup final was that one of the teams would do the double. We were hoping it would be us but it wasn’t to be. Everything was set up for a final; the Tramore venue was perfect; the evening was great and there was a fabulous crowd. It would be easy to say that we didn’t turn up, that we didn’t play. That would be unjust to St. Paul’s as you only play as well as the other team lets you play. However our boys did not reach the heights of previous performances. It was a very tight match with goal-scoring chances few and far between. The boys tried very hard but couldn’t break through St. Paul’s. We congratulate all involved with St. Paul’s on their victory. When we look back on this season we will be thrilled with a league title (for the first time in 10 years) and a cup final appearance (only the third ever by a team from the club). The boys have been fantastic all season. Well done lads. Thanks for all the great matches and everything that has gone with that. Thanks to all the parents, grandparents and other family members for their fantastic support. Mention of support, a sincere thanks to the huge support we had at the final.
