Sponsored Ride/Hunt Canter at Coppenagh

Sponsored Ride/Hunt Canter-A Sponsored Ride/Hunt Canter will take place on Sunday 30th December at Coppenagh, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny from 10.00am. The Canter is organised in association with Nore Vale Harriers & Blacks and Whites GAA club. The course itself is quite scenic with lots of woods and stubble fields containing an array of man-made and natural jumps, all of which are optional. Refreshments will be provided en route with Hot Toddys the course specialty. All levels of riders are welcome and catered for. Santa Visit-Santa Claus will visit the children of Skeoughvosteen this weekend when he arrives in style at Tom Walsh Park on Sunday 16th December at 6.30pm. Admission is free and young and old are all most welcome. Come along and enjoy a great evening.

Bag Packing-The Blacks and Whites GAA club and the Parents Association of Skeoughvosteen National School have been lucky enough to secure the lucrative bag packing job at Dunnes Stores Kilkenny again this festive season. The bag packing starts on Thursday 20th December and continues up to and including Monday 24th December. A roster of names is being put together and as much help and cooperation as possible will be very much appreciated. If you wish to help out or want more information please contact Eddie Doyle. All funds raised will go to the camogie and juvenile branches of the Blacks and Whites club and also the parents association.

Thank You-The family and friends of baby Dylan Gardinar would like to talk all who attended and supported the fundraising cabaret which was held in the clubhouse in Tom Walsh Park on Saturday 3rd Novemeber last. The cabaret was in aid of St Lukes Hospital and baby Dylan Gardiner. A big thanks also to Christy Kealy and John Maher who provided the music on the night.
