Mount Juliet Run - Well done to all the local runners who took part in the run on Saturday, also to all the Juveniles who were in action over the week-end. Training is now in progress for the Stoneyford 10k every Monday and Wednesday night at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 9pm. There is also a walking group in action for those who don,t want to run so come on down and get fit and have fun doing it.

Reflection on the ‘Word Of God’: On Wednesdays during Lent there will be an opportunity to reflect on the following Sunday Readings. This will take place in the Parish House, Hugginstown at 8pm. All are welcome.
Eucharistic Ministers and Readers: A number of extra Eucharistic Ministers and Readers are needed for weekend Masses in both Stoneyford and Hugginstown. Kilkenny/Carlow Contact - It is a Community based Befriending & Support Organisation for Older Persons. Volunteers are asked to donate an hour or two each week to visit an older person who may need Social Contact or Security Connections. An Induction and Open Morning will be held in the Fr. McGrath Centre, Kilkenny on Monday February 18 from 11am to12.30pm. Please come along if you are interested in Volunteering. Cross Border Orchestra Ireland - Peace Proms 2013 - Concert will take place in The Hub, Kilkenny on Saturday March 2. Droichead Family Resource Centre, Callan - Computer Course: Once off, low cost, beginner’s computer course in Droichead Family Resource Centre, Callan: Learn to use the internet, email, skype and basic digital photography etc. The course will be held on Tuesday evenings or Wednesday afternoons. An Open Music, Song and Dance Session will take place in Droichead Family Resource Centre (The Friary) every Friday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm for the older folk in Callan and surrounding area. All are welcome to join in on the session and have a bit of craic. Tea and Coffee will be served.
Basic Digital Photography Course will take place in Droichead FRC, Callan on Wednesday, April 4. from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. The course will run for 5 Wednesdays.
