AN exhibition in the National Library of Ireland highlighted two young Kilkenny talents, who also received praised from Deputy Ann Phelan.

“I am biased, I know, but the relentless achievements of Kilkenny based young people in the visual artistic world engenders a huge sense of pride in all of us,” she said at the ‘Youth Arts Works’ Initiative showcased in the National Library of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin. She was supporting Stephen Brennan and Eanna O’Connor, whose digital cartoon works were a feature of the exhibition.

“In supporting this showcase created by Stephen and Eanna working under the Kilkenny Youth Arts Project I hope that my presence here is seen as not only encouragement for them and also a boost for our County Arts Programme, which is not supported or appreciated nearly as much as it should be,” she added.
