Presentation Secondary School student Cait Broderick recently took part in the British National Canoeing Sprint Championship where she represented her county and her country.

The competition was held in England’s National Watersports Centre in Nottingham on April 14 and 15. Cait had a very busy weekend, as she took part in five different races.

In the K4 class, Cait and her three teammates finished first in the 1,000m and third in the 500m. In the K2 class, Cait and her partner finished third in the 500m; and in the K1 class, she finished fourth in the 1,000m and third in the 500m where she smashed her previous personal best.

It was a very successful two days for the Presentation student who dedicates a lot of her time to the sport.
