Dungarvan: Hard work pays off for Tidy Towns committee

TIDY TOWNS - A glowing report, is how the adjudication of the efforts of Dungarvan Development Association and the village has been described. Despite a dreadful summer of wind and rain the team of workers, including Fas Worker John Morris managed to preserve the very high standard of the landscaping in the village. Great praise was lavished on those responsible for the flower arrrangements, tubs, hanging baskets and individual personal flower beds. Cleanliness and tidiness and a lack of litter was also commented on.Congratulations to all concerned as adding 6 points to last years score of 257 is indeed a wonderful achievement.
