Colaiste Mhuire - Information night for parents of 6th class primary school students will take place on Thursday Nov 22nd from 7.30 – 9.00pm. Enrolment and assessments for the incoming first years 2013/2014 will take place on Dec 1st in Colaiste Mhuire 10am –12.30 pm.

St Anne’s Camogie Club - St Anne’s Camogie Club extends sincere thanks to all who contributed to the recent Church Gate Collection held in early November. Your contributions are very much appreciated. 
Players from the successful U16 and Minor Kilkenny teams were presented with their medals by senior Kilkenny player Cillian Buckley. 
Minor medals were won by Siobhan and Mary Corcoran. U16 medals winners Chloe Purcell, Niamh Sweeney, Sarah Whelan and Mary Corcoran.

Memorial Mass - A Remberance Mass will be celebrated in St. Kieran’s Church, Johnstown on Friday Nov 30th at 8pm. 
It will be a commemoration of those who died in the parish during the past year . It is hoped that families will find the ceremony helpful in coming to terms with their loss. 
Families of those who died in the parish will be personally invited. 
During the Mass a candle of remembrance will be lit for each person who has passed away. 
A special candle will be lit in memory of parishioners parents, siblings and family members who have died during the year in locations outside the parish.

Many thAnks - Recent Church Gate collections for different charities proved very successful each time. The organisers extend sincere thanks to all for such generous contributions. Irish Heart Foundation collection raised €800, Rehab collected €728. 
The Table Quiz in aid of the Carers Association held recently in Barrys Bar raised €800. 
Even in harsh economic times people are very generous.

Cake Sale - St Anne’s Camogie Club will hold a cake sale in Galmoy Hall next Sat night Nov14th after 8pm Mass. 
The club would appreciate donations of buns, cakes, bread and biscuits. 
All donations can be left into the Hall from 7pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Whist - The Annual Whist Drive in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association held in St Mary’s Hall was very well supported. The winners...top score.. Heather Bailey, Winners Eileen Phelan, Lisa Dunne, Richard Bailey, Patricia Delaney, Joan Loughman, Henry Cooke, Michael Muldowney, Henry Martin, Robert Calbeck, William Woodlock, Mary Orr, Derek Bailey, Emily Bergin. Raffle Winners... Sr. Miriam, Tom Cooke, Marie McCarthy, Sheila McGree, Michael Muldowney, Margaret Neile, Phil Dunne, Kathlaan Hickey, Patricia Watson and Brigid Walsh. Christmas Whist Drive in St Mary’s Hall on Friday Dec 7th. Christmas Whist Drive again in St Mary’ Hall on Sat Dec 15th.
