Camogie Club A.G.M. - On Saturday 24th September at 8.30pm the adult section of the Tullaroan camogie club will hold their annual general meeting in the club rooms. A full attendance would be very much appreciated.

Whist Drive - A whist drive will be held in the Tullaroan community centre on Wednesday 21st November commencing at 8.30pm.

Christmas Card Games - The Christmas Card games of “25”s commence this Thursday in Coolagh Hall, three miles from Callan on the Windgap road. Prizes of hams and hampers. All welcome.

Colaiste Mhuire - An information night for parents of 6th class students will take place in Colaiste Mhuire, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny on Thursday 22nd November from 7.30pm to 9pm. Enrolment and Assessment for the incoming first years (2012/2013) will take place on Saturday 1st December between 10am and 12.30pm. For further information please phone 0568831135.

North Kilkenny Hunt - There was a very large turn out for the North Kilkenny Hunt outing held in Tullaroan on Sunday last.

Recently Deceased - The death took place on November 14th of Patrick Dillon, Hollyville Lawn, Palmerstown, Dublin. Deepest sympathy to his parents Liam and Carmel, his brothers Liam, Shay and John, his sister Mary. Patrick’s father Liam came from Ballybeigh, Tullaroan and he ran a very successful licenced premises called The Black Lion in Inchicore, Dublin. He was always very welcoming to the Tullaroan people who called to his premises coming from hurling matches in Croke Park.

Hurling Club - The Tullaroan hurling club Christmas Raffle tickets will go on sale this week and your supportwould be very much appreciated.

Timber Auction - A very successful auction of timber was held at the Tullaroan sports grounds on Sunday afternoon last where local publican John Connolly did a very good job as auctioneer for the evening. A big thanks to all who gave timber, and who participated in the cutting of the timber, those who purchases at the auction and anyone who helped to make this auction a success. Monies raised will go towards paying off the debt on the development at the sports grounds.

The Feast of Christ the King - Forty hours of adoration will take place in room 6, St. Fiacre’s Centre, Loughboy. Mass will be celebrated by Fr., Willie Purcell on Friday November 23rd at 7.30pm and end with Mass at 12 noon on Sunday celebrated by Bishop Freeman.

A vocations seminar will take place in the Centre on Saturday 24th from 11am to 1pm. Fr. Purcell, National Vocations Co-Coordinator, will lead this and everyone welcome to attend.

Sympathy - Deep sympathy to Orla and Andrea Fitzgerald, Lates, Tullaroan on the death of their father Walter Tallis, Lacken Drive, Kilkenny and to his sister Mrs. Ellen Maher, Brittas, Tullaroan.
