UNDER 9’S CONTINUE THEIR WINNING WAYS - The Under 9s continued their winning streak with a fine 5-0 win over Southend. A game which was dominated from start to finish by the home side saw them 2 up at the break with goals from Aaron Hosey and Patrick Langton.
Any threat from Southend was dealt with by Donagh Murphy and Tom Foot who controlled the defence with a confident Jack Doyle keeping his line safe.
Dylan Hunston and Joe Healy dominated the middle with the latter helping himself to a fine score, indeed he could have had three more but for Torres like touches.
Luke Fenlon was very solid on his introduction taking a fine score with a notable celebration.
A long range effort from Kyle Foley made it 4, with the 5th coming from Cathal Purcell.
