COFFEE MORNING - Over two and a half thousand euro was gathered as part of the Daffodil Day, Big Coffee Morning which was held recently at the Rothwell family home in Inistioge.

The event has grown over the past few years as the Rothwells rally friends and neighbours to support this charity which has supported many families including the Rothwells not so long ago. At times the road outside Inistioge looked like a large car park as people arrived to participate in the event or just drop off a contribution. The rain stayed away and a lot of coffee/tea and conversation took place.

Fr Scriven along with Reverant Hillard were spotted discussing easter sermons while chef Edward Hayden provided much entertainment with a baking demonstration. Over a few hours on a Saturday morning a massive effort came together successfully and a big thank you to everyone who helped ensure Daffodil Day and the Irish Cancer Society get the help they so need.
