The Kilkenny Gospel Choir will host a Christmas thanksgiving dinner and entertainment this Friday night in Langton’s for all who supported the St Vincent De Paul Society over Christmas.

With entry at €5, a sit-down dinner will be served and music will be provided by the Uptown Band with special guest Don Mescal and the Kilkenny Gospel Choir. Money raised will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

“This is a way to say thanks to thousands of people throughout Kilkenny who supported the St Vincent de Paul Society over Christmas and also raise funds for their continued work,” said Fr Willie Purcell.

The night has been given by Eamon Langton, who will provide the food and the entertainment for all. All are invited to join this festive night.

“Come the new year many people will suffer because of financial and family difficulties, so every cent goes to alleviate some of the misery and stress of peoples lives,” said Liam Heffernan of the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Tickets are available from Langton’s, John Street, Kilkenny.
