CEMETERY MASS - The annual outdoor Glenmore cemetry mass took place last Friday evening under a kind and rainfree sky with a very good attendence with Fr. Michael Anthony O’Connor P.P. as the chief celebrant along with three other priests, Fr. Grennan, Fr. Dick Phelan and Fr. Michael Mernagh. Many thanks to all those who prepared their family graves in readiness for the cemetry mass, to all who read, the altar servers, the parish choir, readers, eucharistic ministers, collectors and church sacristan. The work of the FAS workers is greatly appreciated who keep the graveyard grounds in pristine condition. The annual cemetry mass is always a very special event in the life of the parish with many former parishioners making their way to Glenmore for the mass. A welcome cup of tea was served along with light refreshments in the community hall after mass and thanks is given to those involved.
