Stephen’s Day Run- Stoneyford Soccer Club are holding their annual Run this Stephen’s Day. The route begins at the Community Hall up Stonecarthy around Cherrymount and back to the hall via the Waterford Road. Anyone wishing to do the run for their own charity are welcome to do so. You can register on line or at the hall on the morning of the run. Its a great way to shake off the cobwebs after the excesses of the previous day. Looking forward to seeing you there either running or walking.

Sacrament of Healing and Reconciliation-The Sacrament of Reconciliation for Christmas will be celebrated during Masses next Saturday 22nd. December. In Stoneyford Church during the 6.30p.m. Mass and in Hugginstown Church during the 8.00p.m. Mass.

Family Christmas Masses- There will be Mass for Young Families and Children on Christmas Eve on Monday 24th. December; In Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m. and in Hugginstown Church at 8.00p.m. Many of the children will be taking an active part in these celebrations. They will be involved with the Choirs, Readings, Prayers, Gifts, Servers etc. All children are invited to bring a little gift for other children who are in need. We ask parents to come with their children and to join in the singing of the Christmas Carols and to celebrate as family.

Mass Times on Christmas Day- Stoneyford at 10.00a.m.- Hugginstown at 11.00a.m.

Holy Communion for Christmas-Visitation will take place as usual next week-end. Please let us know if you are unable to come to Mass and would like to receive Holy Communion in your home for Christmas or at any other time.

Senior Help Line is a national confidential telephone listening service for older people provided by trained older volunteers. They are open every day over Christmas, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, from 10.00a.m. to 10.00p.m. All calls are treated as strictly confidential. Callan ‘Pop Up’ Christmas Market- The Market will take place in The old Co Op (beside Café Larche), Green St. Callan on Tuesday, December 18th. and Wednesday, December 19th. from 10.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. Produce on offer- Cakes, Breads, Eggs, Handcrafted Cards, Calendars, Hair Fascinators, Turned & Sculpted Wood, Knitted and Embroidered Gifts and lots more. All are welcome to come along, have a browse or buy some locally produced products. If you would like to have your own stand, Insurance & HSE Cert is a requirement. Diocesan Newsletter-The Diocesan Newsletter has been circulated to all parishes. It is hoped to continue with the publication in the New Year. However, this obviously very much depends on the support the Newsletter receives in parishes. There will be a cost of €2.00 per copy (just to cover printing). It will be on sale this weekend 15th./16th. and next weekend 22nd./23rd. December.
