THANK YOU - Dan & Carmel Dawson and Family wish to express many many thanks to everyone who contributed to their little grandson Andrew Dawson’s leukaemia fund. Since he was diagnosed 7 months ago, he has on-going chemo treatment. Andrew celebrated his 4th birthday last week and on that day started a further 56 sessions of chemo. He has now turned a corner and is making a good recovery, thank God. His parents Mark and Tristan are overwhelmed by the generosity of family, friends, neighbours, parishioners of Tullow and surrounding areas throughout Co. Carlow. The total collected was $20,000 dollars for his treatment and medical bills in Florida USA. Please continue to include him in your prayers

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE UPDATE AGM - Bagenalstown Family Resource Centre Ltd., is having their Annual General Meeting in the Centre on Thursday, March 14 at 7pm, all are welcome.
INFORMATION DAY - Bagenalstown Family Resource Centre will have the Marie Keating Mobile Unit and Nurse attend an Information Day on Monday, March 4 from 10.30am to 3pm. The nurse and mobile unit will give advice and information on health issues and, in particular, on key cancers to include, lung, breast, cervical, bowel, skin, ovarian, prostate and testicular. The Resource Centre invite members of our community to attend as this is a fantastic opportunity to educate ourselves about preventative measures and tips and hints on what to watch out for. Refreshments will be available, and the nurse will be happy to talk to people on a one-to-one basis where necessary, so make sure to come along. For more information call us on 059-97-22028

PENNY BANK - Bagenalstown Family Resource Centre is calling on all people to kick start their savings with the Penny Bank, from as little as €1 to €50 per week. Save for any occasion and access your savings when you want. It’s a great way to encourage the kids to save their pocket money, keep their savings book and watch their savings grow! AGM - Carlow Federation ICA will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday April 4 in Rathvinden House Leighlinbridge. Turn off main Kilkenny road at the Arboretum and Rathvinden is the second gateway on your right. BAPTISMAL CHANGES - Bagenalstown Parish will request, from April next, parents to attend a preparation meeting before registering a child for Baptism.
