Tullaroan v St Martin’S - The Tullaroan senior hurling team will line out in the senior hurling league on Friday, April 26 in O’Loughlin’s sports grounds where they will play St Martin’s. Membership of the hurling club is now over due.

Hurling - Tommy Walsh, Mountgale was on the Kilkenny senior hurling that defeated Galway in the League semi-final held at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Sunday afternoon last. Tommy’s brother Padraig was also on the Kilkenny panel.
Recently Deceased - The death took last week of Michael Anderson, Rathmoyle, Co Kilkenny. Michael was of a quiet disposition who endeared himself to all who knew him. He spent his working life in the Irish Army where he had numerous tours of duty over seas. He is survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and his many friends.
Special Olympics Ireland’s Annual Collection Day - Special Olympics Ireland’s annual Collection Day, sponsored by eircom, will take place throughout Ireland on Friday, April 26. Volunteers will be needed in Kilkenny City to look after the collection points there.

Camogie - Tullaroan intermediate camogie played a draw match against Ballyhale Shamrock’s in the All County League held in the Tullaroan sportsgrounds on Saturday last. Membership of the camogie club is now due.
