Ballyhale Shamrocks are back at the top of club hurling after a five point win over treble chasing Portumna in Croke.
Henry Shefflin hit 0-9 of the Shamrocks total, guiding the Ballyhale side to an early 0-7 to 0-1 lead.
Despite the constant threat of Joe Canning, who finished the game with 0-12, Shamrocks were the better balanced side and led by six points at the break.
David Hoynes goal in the 46th minute, pouncing on a mistake by Portuma keeper Ivan Canning, sealed the win for Shamrocks.
Shamrocks captain Eamonn Walsh accepted the Tommy Moore Cup for his club - the fifth Ballyhale man to do the honours.
