Training night for club officers

As part of the continuing implementation of its Strategic Vision and Action Plan, Kilkenny County Board is holding a club officer training and support evening on Monday (7.45pm) in Hotel Kilkenny.

Presentations on the individual roles of club chairmen, secretaries, treasurers and PROs’ will be made by County Board officers, in addition to information on the requirement of a club 5-year plan by John Cotter (Leinster Council).

Also on the agenda will be a discussion on the GAA’s proposals on payment to club managers and a briefing for clubs on Kilkenny GAA’s involvement in the St Patrick’s Day parade. The evening will conclude with a question and answer session followed by tea/coffee.

All clubs have been urged to send representatives, including the chairman, secretary, treasurer and PRO.
