Minors win 20th All-Ireland crown

Goals from corner forward Michael Brennan and substitute Paul Buggy secured Kilkenny's 20th All-Ireland MHC title success at Croke Park on Sunday.

Trailing by five at half time, 0-10 to 0-5, Brennan scored five minutes in to the second half, and then set up the move for Buggy to finish ten minutes later and bring the sides level for the first time.

Clare had the greater possession for most of the hour, but once level Kilkenny took a grip of the game and won out, 2-10 to 0-14 winners.
