The four documentaries shone a light on these writers and tried determine what their artistic legacy was, and how would they be remembered.

The Judges praised the series for its "exceptional storytelling, high production values, and deep sense of community connection," describing it as "a standout example of how community radio can nurture and showcase local creativity at a national standard."

The series was further recognised with a special award for Ger Cody of Lake Productions for his outstanding work in bringing the project to fruition.

CRKC's second gold of the evening came under the Coimisiún na Meán, commissioned programme category for the 'Around Your Way' series which earned warm recognition for its engaging coverage of local communities across Kilkenny.

The programme shun a light on community initiatives, local heritage, and the people who make Kilkenny thrive.

The award was collected by Mags Lynch and her son Sam on behalf of the large team of volunteer presenters that worked tirelessly on the series.
