Over 6,000 took part in Darkness into Light Walk last Saturday Morning. It was the biggest year on record.
Aurellia Mackin, chairwoman of Darkness Into Light in Kilkenny was full of praise for the people who got out of their beds to do the walk or run.
“The camaraderie and the spirit was wonderful and an inspiration to all of us of what we can achieve together,” she said.
