This colourful assortment of characters gathered at Killure Lodge in Goresbridge as part of Heritage Week to re-enact the emigration story of the thousands of Irish People that were forced to emigrate during the Famine.
The event involved music, dance, storytelling, and entertainment for young and old.
The theme of this year’s National Heritage Week, which runs with several more events in Kilkenny until this Sunday, is ‘Sharing Stories’.
