There's great fun and japes going on at Mac Donagh Junction in Kilkenny right now, where locals are queuing up to take part in auditions for Britain's Got Talent.
The hit television show has arrived into Kilkenny City today. Singers, dancers and other performers have been queuing up this afternoon to take their routines to a bigger stage - and the craic is mighty in the queue, by all accounts. At least one Elvis impersonator has been spotted.
The audition session is taking place with producers of the programme, which last year saw the Presentation Secondary School Choir reach the semi-final stages. Those hoping to emulate this fantastic feat have an opportunity do so until 6pm today (Wednesday).
No pre-registration required, so just turn up and give it a go. The auditions are open to any performer of any age, and it's not just musical acts.
