'First Dates' to air Valentine’s Day Special tonight

Tonight, on RTÉ2, on the Eve of Valentine’s Day – First Dates will air a Valentine’s Day Special.

All about love in its many forms, the staff are in overdrive, Mateo’s excited and the stakes are extra high as singletons arrive in search of their dream dates.

In this episode, returning for a second date, student Ellie from Limerick is served a treat with a twist by cheeky bar manager Daniel from Drimnagh. His days at Irish college have convinced him that country girls are better looking but will this city slicker end up a total bumpkin.

TV presenter and ‘no filter’ comedian Bláithín from Dublin meets fellow Gaeilgeoir and ‘proud culchie’ Mary from Killarney. They’re both redheads but that’s not nearly the most interesting thing they have in common.
