From 9am on Wednesday, May 18, tickets will be available free-of-charge through www.waterfordtallshipsrace.ie for the Bryan Ferry concert at Bolton Street, Waterford on the evening of Thursday, June 30. At the same time on May 19, free tickets will be available for The Waterboys show on Friday, July 1 when they’ll be supported by O Emperor. Free tickets will be released at 9am, May 20 for the Sharon Shannon Show with special guests Damien Dempsey & Dessie O’Halloran.

The free tickets, which cannot be sold on, will be limited to two per applicant with measures being taken to ensure multiple pairs of tickets are not allocated to the same people. The tickets are being made available across three separate days to give the widest opportunity to apply for one of the shows.

Spraoi has commissioned almost 20 national and international street performance acts. Keith Barry, the award-winning illusionist, will perform a specially-commissioned piece at the launch on the afternoon of June 30 which is to be attended by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD. Other festival highlights include the Crew Parade on July 1 and the Parade of Sail by the international fleet on July 3.
