PARENTING SEMINAR-Kilkenny County Childcare Committee are holding a Free Parents Seminar for parents of children aged from Birth to 6 years on 11th June 2012 in Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel from 7pm-9.30pm. The seminar will be facilitated by Dr. Mary Roche, Education Consultant and will explore how reading books aloud can support young children’s early language development. CAMOGIE NEWS-Both the school girls and the under 14s came up against St.Annes last week and had two great wins. Result in the schools quarter final was Rower/Inistioge 8-5. St Annes 0-0, and in the under 14 game, Rower/Inistioge 15-8, St. Annes 0-0.
ClUB NEWS-The Inistioge Cubs had a great weekend at the county camp which was held in Inistioge, Twenty Nine Cubs from Inistioge took part with many others from Kilkenny and Carlow.
GYM UPDATE-The management of the Gym in Inistioge are proud to annonce that a new Spinning Bike has been added to the collection of equipment at the gym. An induction is required before using this piece of equipment.
ROWER HALL-A plan of proposed work for the Rower hall will be on display in the church in the Rower during the week. A public meeting will be held in the Rower hall on Wednesday 6th at 8.30pm.
INISTIOGE JUNE BANK HOLIDAY FESTIVAL-The annual festival will be held in Inistioge at the weekend. Donations of cakes and buns for the festival can be brought to Cois Abhainn on Saturday at 2pm. All proceeds from the festival go towards the community centre.
SUMMER FUN CAMP-The camp will be run from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th of July. All children aged from 4 to 11 are welcome. Please contact Emma on 086-3299942 for further information.
