The 24th Rockfall Festival takes place in Kilkenny on the October Bank Holiday weekend.
This year’s festival will feature over 70 acts with bands, solo artistes, and DJs playing in venues all over Kilkenny City.
The festival will once again showcase the enormous talent that is in Kilkenny and includes rock, dance, country, folk, blues, Americana, trad and pop all on offer across one weekend.
Also on the bill you can enjoy Thin Az Lizzy, The Sawdoctors, A Mayfair Joe Dolan Tribute, Woody Guthrie Centennial Tribute, Devious Theatre, a busking competition in conjunction with Savour Kilkenny Festival and world renowned dance/progressive DJ John Gibbons (who flies in from Mexico).
Proceeds from the festival will once again go to support the wonderful work of Enable Ireland at the O’Neill Centre, Kilkenny. Full details are on www.rockfallfestival.com.
Meanwhile, anyone who wants to enter the busking competition which takes place over the weekend can contact Eamon Cleere on 087 9582127. The prize for the winning act is €250.
