The third episode in the new series of locally produced webcom Vultures has just landed online.
Following on from the success of the first two episodes and participation in this years Digital Comedy Lab, the third episode, Jim Vultour And The Mystery Writer Writing Mystery further continues the story of four disillusioned and unemployed detectives looking for something to do in their small Irish town.
This episode focuses on the scruffy sleuth Jim Vultour as he decides to stake out the home of up and coming mystery writer Kate Marple. Convinced she is stealing his ideas for her own book, Vultour sets out to prove that she has been plagiarising him and so he enlists his detective chums to join him in a mission that can only go wrong.
John Morton, David Thompson, Seán Hackett and Suzanne O’Brien all return as the four detectives Jim Vultour, Dan McGrain, Niall Tennyson and Janine Drew respectively. The cast for the new episode also includes Ross Costigan, Anne Cody and Niamh Moyles who plays the part of Kate Marple.
The show is produced by local production company Mycrofilms with this episode directed by Peter McGann, written by John Morton and produced by Alan Slattery. Locally produced and shot in Kilkenny, Vultures has proven to be one of Ireland’s best comedy video podcasts since its first episode back in 2007.
