We’ve been keeping you up to date on local Movember events in recent weeks. Another has now come to the fore and it’s one that you too could be part of.
The Club House Hotel Kilkenny presents One Night In Movember on November 30 from 9pm ‘til late. The Mo-bros and Mo-Sistas working at Kilkenny’s oldest hotel are throwing their very own Movember party to promote awareness of prostate cancer. Workers at the hotel have sprouted moustaches for a good cause – and now you can too. Come along for ‘One Night In Movember’ to try out the new look. The Mo the Merrier!
Club House Hotel manager Ian Brennan and bar staff Philip Moss and David Comerford have cultivated the real deal – they’ve grown their own moustaches.
“We started with a clean shave on November 1. It’s not as easy as it looks, it’s taken a bit of getting used to. But we’re Mo’ than excited now with everyone in Kilkenny getting behind us,” said team leader and Freshford native Philip.
“We have lots of friends and family members who have been affected in one way or another by cancer. Last year, a few of us took part but we decided to make an extra special effort this year. Our regulars at the hotel have been enjoying slagging us about our new look. We’ll take it on the chin!” he added.
Make it a night to Movember and join the lads on November 30. Tache-on for one-night only. Music by Before The Ghosts and finger food.
