What happens when an Icelandic trio brings its gorgeous electronic sounds to an Irish festival capital?
We’re about to find out this Thursday when Samaris hit Set Theatre at Langton’s.
Formed in 2011, the multi award winning outfit released their debut album just last year, merging tracks from their previous EPs with some new remixes. Live, they’re something to behold blending bold beats, haunting vocals and stunning songs taken from nineteenth century Icelandic poetry to craft delicate electronic that is simply summed up as beautiful.
Invited to play the Longitude and Mountain Dew festivals in Dublin and Cork, they decided to squeeze in a headlining session at the local venue where they’ll be supported by Daniel Martin Moore.
Tickets to the not to be missed show are a mere €5 and doors will be open from 8pm.
