Film making for communities will take place on location and at KCAT, Callan later this month.
It is a short fun course beginning on July 21 and running over the following two weekends of July 28 and 29 and August 4 and 5 from 10am to 2pm each day. The cost is €25 and the course is for people aged 16 and upwards.
Shooting with whatever is at your disposal; camera phones, etc, Neil O’Driscoll will show the basic techniques and principles of film-making, such as camera operating and sound recording, preparing for a shoot, editing and establishing a narrative with your footage, how to create text and credit sequences for films, and how to give your finished films maximum exposure.
If you’re interested in learning how to document events and want to record what’s happening this summer then contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are limited.
