The group named Best Folk Act in a Hot Press Reader’s Poll last year is on the way to Kilkenny.
Award-winners Tupelo have been on the go since 2008 when the four founding members merged their very different musical backgrounds to form their very own, unimitable sound.
They quickly began to find fans, boosting numbers with performances at festivals, as the interval act at the 2011 All Ireland Senior Hurling final and with recordings, many of which continue to be played by Irish and UK radio stations.
Recently back from touring Denmark they have also just released new album Push On with first single Old Country doing the rounds.
The band bring their live action to Cleere’s this Saturday.
