Macra members are in final stages of preparing for their annual big weekend in Kilkenny.
It starts at the Springhill Court Hotel on Friday night with the Mr Personality contest, which Kilkenny Chairman Liam Comerford is in the running for. Contenders will be interviewed on stage, will compete in activities on Saturday morning and then the winner will be revealed that night at the informal banquet.
Music will be played by Deuces Wild on Friday night and Hot Fuss on Saturday night. Doors will open for afters from 9pm on both nights with an entrance fee of €10 on Friday night and €15 on Saturday night.
On Sunday the group’s national volleyball finals take place at the Watershed with current county and national champions Callan bidding to hold onto their title.
There’s lots more in between and some fun-filled activity’s due.
