Jerpoint Glass Studio celebrates Kilkenny Arts Festival with exciting new work by Bernadette Madden. The exhibition entitled “Sunlight & Shadow” is open to the public from August 3 to September 7. The exhibition of batik paintings by the internationally known Irish artist, Bernadette Madden, was inspired by her early morning travels through the Irish countryside. Her batiks are on heavy linen and she uses dyes, layer upon layer, until she reaches the depth and richness of tone that she wants. Some of the batiks in this exhibition have been dyed more than 20 times. See www.jerpointglass.com
