Cry Before Dawn, the Wexford-based four-piece rock outfit, who released a string of hits in the 80’s including “Gone Forever”, “Witness for the World” and “The Seed that’s been Sown” have planned just a handful of shows in 2013 and the Rose of Mooncoin have been lucky enough to secure one of those gigs.
The band, led by Brendan Wade, recently completed a hugely successful and critically acclaimed reunion tour of Ireland and the UK. The tour saw emotional and rousing performances in sold out venues throughout Ireland, including triumphant shows in Dublin’s Vicar Street and two nights at Wexford’s Opera House. Appearances on the main stage at the London Feis and a memorable show at Electric Picnic has left fans wanting more, and so far, the upcoming gig in the Rose of Mooncoin is one of only three shows planned for 2013.
Cry Before Dawn take to the Rose of Mooncoin stage on Saturday April 20 and tickets are only €10 (compared to €20 and €25 for the other two planned 2013 gigs). Tickets are available from the Rose of Mooncoin or by calling 051-896773 or 0858060749.
