It’s been twenty years since David Gray released his first studio album and since then fans have been following his voice.
The British singer and songwriter recently did a call-out on his website looking for small venues across Ireland to host his national tour. Fans were invited to submit suggestions and vote on the venues listed and St Canice’s Cathedral in the heart of our city found itself on the tour.
Those who’d taken part in the venue selection got first dibs on concert tickets and it was quick to sell out. For those who managed to nab passes, the gig takes place this Saturday.
