ABOVE: The Holden Family enjoyed the Creative Spaces open day with KCAT at Butler Gallery
Artist Rachel Bourke, lead facilitator of this programme, said: “I really enjoy meeting new and familiar learners and artists at all ability ranges and being able to contribute in providing a supportive environment, nurturing individuals’ creative thought and practice through this programme.”
Caroline Loughman Director of KCAT Arts Centre said: “There is a genuine value to developing such partnerships with the renowned Butler gallery based in Kilkenny City. Rachel, like her fellow facilitators and tutors in KCAT’s learning department, has a wonderful approach and connection with the learners and artists in our programmes. The creative spaces programme connects people to the KCAT Arts Centre which is now in its 23rd year of operation, and many of the participants who attend the Creative Spaces at Butler Gallery then go on to join our courses.”
