A reading of a play by a local writer on Lady Desart will be performed in Kilkenny this weekend.
The Countess by Gillian Grattan will be read by Susie Lamb and Ger Cody at Desart Hall in Kilkenny with original music by Burnchurch.
This initiative is part of the Kilkenny County Council Decade of Centenaries Programme 2023 and is supported by the Commemorations Unit of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media.
