Storybook - The Songs of Brendan Graham will be performed at the Watergate on February 17
A very special life performance will take place at the Watergate Theatre later this month when two artists perform together to celebrate the works of Brendan Graham.
Storybook - The Songs of Brendan Graham is a live show and a new album is a culmination of Cathy and Feargal working together on Brendan’s songs for 20 years. The live performance are sung by Cathy Jordan (Dervish) and accompanied by
Feargal Murray (Camille O’ Sullivan, Jimmy McCarthy) and the album was released on January 19.
The live show includes 10 track performances of this incredibly moving album which traverses the lines between the old tradition and a more modern folk tradition. Songs on the album include ‘Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears’, ‘Waltzing Alone’ ‘Sleepsong’, and ‘Winter, Fire and Snow’
Storybook will be performed at the Watergate on February 16. Admission is €25.
