Exciting young Sonoro String Quartet set to perform in Kilkenny

On Saturday February 8 at 7.30 pm in the Parade Tower of Kilkenny Castle Music in Kilkenny will present the exciting young Sonoro String Quartet in a programme of music by Donnach Dennehy, Dmitri Shostakovich and Claude Debussy.

Founded in 2019 and featuring Cork violist Séamus Hickey, the Sonoro Quartet has already established itself as one of the leading young string quartets of its generation.

They perform over 40 concerts annually in countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and Ireland.
