WATCH: Newly released song is a genuine ode to Kilkenny

A new song has been released that celebrates all that is good about Kilkenny.

‘I Love Kilkenny’ is written and produced by Martin Drennan (Orchard Galaxy), performed by Michael Brennan and the music video was shot and edited by local musician Adam Nolan.

Writer and producer Martin explained that ‘the song suddenly came to him’ one day and he felt compelled to write it down.

He has been in music production for decades, and has worked with some well-known acts including Mike O’Brien, Noel Power and The Aces.

Martin then needed someone to perform the song and felt that his brother Michael, a trained choir singer, was an ideal choice.

Musician and friend Adam Nolan felt that producing a music video would really help to elevate the song, and shot it around Kilkenny Castle and The Parade.
