Don Conroy will give the free workshop at the Butler Gallery
Join celebrated Irish artist, writer, and broadcaster Don Conroy for an inspiring adult art workshop that combines storytelling, poetry, and drawing at the Butler Gallery this Sunday.
Don will lead participants through a fun and creative session, offering drawing exercises alongside engaging stories. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this workshop provides a great opportunity to experiment with your creativity.
The well-known artist, writer and broadcaster is a familiar face in Ireland due to his popular slot, “Draw with Don” on the long-running children’s RTE TV show, The Den. He has also worked as a freelance illustrator for The Irish Times, and is a regular contributor to the popular Ireland’s Own magazine.
A keen naturalist, Don has celebrated Ireland’s wildlife in his recent book, Drawn to Nature, published by Gill Books.
The workshop is for over 18s and is free and takes place at the Butler Gallery from 1pm to 2.30pm on November 2.
